ABOUT US

The Gate HD can be defined as evangelical, Reformed, and continuationist.

At the core of our doctrine is the gospel of Jesus Christ—the glorious truth that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin as the incarnate Word of God, that He lived a sinless life, died a substitutionary death and was raised to life and ascended to throne of God as King so that sinners would be reconciled to God as sons and servants. The gospel is our primary passion and the driving influence in our churches’ preaching, worship, small groups, and outreach. Surrounding this core is an emphasis on sound doctrine. We are committed to a Reformed doctrine of salvation (the doctrines of grace), justification by faith (Greek, 'pistis' - faithfulness) alone, and the belief that Scripture is the sole authority for doctrine, life and practice.
